Welcome to the City of Ute! We are located in the west central part of Iowa in Monona County along the Soldier River. We are located 55 miles South of Sioux City 70 miles North of Omaha, NE. With the highways 183 and 141 meeting in Ute, it’s easy to reach the bigger cities, while still enjoying all that small-town life has to offer.  We have a population of 374 (2010 census).

Mosquito Spraying Change
Due to a mechanical issue with the sprayer truck, mosquito spraying was unable to be completed yesterday (Tuesday 7/16). Spraying will be completed on Thursday 7/18/24.
