Utilities Rates:
- Base Water Charge: $25.13 per month ($0.965 cents per 100 gallons for usage)
- Base Sewer Charge: $16.55 per month ($0.591 cents per 100 gallons of water usage)
- Landfill Charge: Base rate of $10.00 (small can) or $12 (large can) per month for the first can. Additional cans are billed with an additional $5 a month charge.
- Garbage: $13.20 per month (Additional cans are billed the same)
Utility Statements: Mailed out at the end of the month and due the fifteenth. After the fifteenth, there is a 10% penalty added. Service will be terminated and a $75 reconnect fee will be added to the balance, if the bill remains unpaid by 9:00am on the 28th.
Garbage Can Info: Garbage cans stay with the property, unless a different size is requested.
Garbage Pick-up: Cans are picked up very early Tuesday morning. It is recommended you place the can out Monday night. Place can within 7 feet of curb with serial number facing the street. Do not place it in between or behind parked vehicles where the truck cannot access. If you are not sure which side of your property to place the can, look at your neighbors. Please do not place hot ashes or anything extremely hot in cans-let it cool first. Please remove the can from the curb area after your garbage has been picked up.
City Dump: The City Dump is for leaves, grass clippings, and tree limbs only. You will need to obtain a key from City Hall, City Maintenance, or the Mayor.
