With recent damage caused by rough play, the wooden playground was determined to no longer be safe and could not be repaired to adequate safety standards. Further issues were discovered beyond the break that led to the decision to tear down the structure. We know that this was a favorite for many and it was not a decision made lightly. The City does not have funds to replace the wooden structure. We are asking for your help in respecting the current park facilities and equipment. We love and encourage play. Intentional attempts to damage, destroy, deface, or use in a way clearly not intended of the equipment or facilities are not allowed. This includes the Port-a-Pot which is not City property, rather rented from a company. Please help us keep our park fun for everyone!
