Persons visiting the City of Ute Park and Baseball Fields are requested to observe a level of personal conduct that will help the City maintain its parks and facilities in a safe, clean, and beautiful condition so all may enjoy them. The following guidelines are representative of those kinds of behavior that are encouraged while visiting the City’s Park and Recreation facilities.
Conduct Guidelines:
1. Respect Others
• Treat all park visitors with kindness and consideration.
• Use respectful language and gestures.
• Be mindful of personal space and avoid disruptive behavior.
2. Keep It Clean
• Dispose of trash in designated bins.
• Help keep the park/playground litter-free by picking up after yourself.
• Report any maintenance concerns or hazards promptly.
3. Safety First
• Use equipment and amenities appropriately and as intended.
• Supervise children to ensure their safety at all times.
4. Be Mindful of Noise
• Keep noise levels reasonable to respect others enjoying the park.
• Avoid loud music or disturbances that may disturb others.
5. Respect Nature
• Protect plants, trees, and wildlife. Do not disturb or harm them.
• Do not feed wild animals or birds.
6. Sports and Games
• Use designated areas for sports and games.
• Avoid activities that may pose a risk to others.
7. Pets
• Keep pets on leashes and clean up after them.
8. Alcohol and Drugs
• Do not consume alcohol or use drugs on playgrounds.
9. No Smoking or Vaping on playgrounds
• Help maintain a smoke-free and vape-free environment
