New Utility Bill Look

City Hall recently switched accounting systems. Due to the change, your utility bill template is changing. Please be aware that the other side of the utility bill postcard is blank. This choice was made to save our utility customers from additional costs.

Park Closed for Water Tower Removal

Our old water tower is in the process of being removed. We ask that you use caution around the area and respect the road closures for everyone’s safety. The Park is closed today (Thursday) and tomorrow (Friday) as we remove debris and make it safe to play again. Thank you for your cooperation.

Please do not remove utility flags placed in your right of way for locates. These flags are valid for 21 days and are required for the utility companies coming through town to be able to complete their projects. When you remove them, we have to relocate and replace again. Training Class Offering

Iowa Rural Water Association is offering a free training workshop (4 CEU Hours for Water and Wastewater) on August 26, 2025 covering topics like sludge management, sonar boat demonstration, Fernco Pipe Repair, and Duckweed in Wastewater. Lunch is provided. Turn in registration form to Iowa Rural Water.
