The Ute Sanitation budget has been operating at a loss for the last several years. With rising costs for infrastructure, other departments could no longer offset the loss. After cutting costs where possible, it was determined that a rate increase was necessary. The last increase for landfill was in 2020.
How will this Effect my Bill?
You will see this increase on your MARCH water/sewer/garbage/landfill bill.
LANDFILL Fees will increase as follows:

No can $8 $13
Small Can $10 $15
Large Can $12 $17
Additional can landfill will now be billed as the can size landfill charge
